The Doctor Is In

Pwoje Espwa is able to provide care for the children in residence, the staff, and the surrounding community due in part to the incredible generosity of volunteer doctors such as Dr. Cynthia DeSoi.

Dr. DeSoi is the Medical Director of Klinik Espwa.

Currently, two RNs and two nursing assistants are available seven days a week to see patients in the tiny clinic, and a young Haitian doctor sees patients three days a week.

Medical teams from the U.S. visit about eight times each year, usually staying for one to two weeks at a time.
